HMMMM, I can see it, kind of a hybrid between the Hotchkis Mount and a BMR tube. NICE!

What's that hose going into the right corner of the air lid?
I've never seen one of those before.

(I honestly don't know....I can barely find the air lid....but thanks to all the nice peeps on this board & others, I'm learning more every day about my car!!!)

Just a guess, but it could be the "Gas Vapor Canister Vent Tube".

01 & 02 cars have those, I believe it's the air pump breather hose.

Some people are putting a plug in the air lid and attaching a very small K&N filter to the hose. The K&N filter can be placed out of view by cutting off some of the hose. It cleans up the look of that corner of the engine bay. Just another choice.

Thanx! That's a great idea! That hose does look a little weird.....never noticed it before....any & all suggestions are appreciated -- have at it!! [Smile]
