yeah, that is the one down side I see. Long wait at the gates.
Good news is I should be staying at the hotel this year, so folks wont have to worry about getting lost on the way to the track for the 4th year in a row. Posts: 2441 | From: Chester, NY | Registered: Feb 2000

Good deal, this will be my first venture staying at the hotel with everyone. Should be a good time. Hopefully Dragan will keep his "antenna warmers" to himself as I heard he has a problem with those.

Thanks. I'll be at Mikes Famous Harleys for the south-to-north caravan and I'll be at the hotel Friday night with everyone. It should be a lot of fun! Posts: 641 | From: northern Delaware | Registered: Jul 2002

SLP should charge at least that price. They deserve to break even or even make a buck. Charge $40 or more for the registration and give great deals on slp performance parts. I would pay that and know my fellow local f-body friends would also. You start adding up track rental, lodging for employees, gas, travel for displays, and other items, these events can't be cheap.
Instead of ending them, make them into something profitable. Note for SLP

It should be a blast as usual.. I can't wait for the caravan up on Friday, I get to meet a bunch of folks at Mike's Famous Harley (that reminds me, I have to call them to set it up!) and then cruise a short hour and a half up to the hotel.
Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces as well as meeting some new ones! Posts: 1762 | From: Wilmington, DE, USA | Registered: Feb 2000

Unfortunately I don't have that much pull... I think you should come down to meet us anyway. Posts: 1762 | From: Wilmington, DE, USA | Registered: Feb 2000

Have a quick question. Is there a certain area yas are going to try to park in the morning, or just whereever? Was just wondering because it would be nice to park around some ppl i met from skyline,...easier to get to my car for things, heh. probably a stupid question, but felt like asking. well thats that, heh.
