Well.. Should have known that I could never accept someone elses work.. Rob came over and next thing you know the ENTIRE interior and dash were ripped out of the car.. I mean everything from guages to door glass. coated the entire floor area in POR-15.. (note: pictures would only scare you) later the interior will be treated to lots of dynomat and new glass (maybe power windows)

With everything off the car then why not paint it complete?
 -

I was considering millenium yellow but its much darker than the current color so its going to be the same shade yellow with spiral grey stripes and dash. the paint job will be of the "pull off the fenders" type.. Notice all the notes written on the car [Smile] Should be gone for a month..

Oh, and here is why the front is sitting so high:
 -

Engine is being dissasembled and checked out.. hot tanked then the block and heads will be powder painted. might go with alum heads. New MARCH pullies are waiting to be installed along with billet tall valve covers, billet water neck, BCool alum radiator, Moroso alum water pump and a host of goodies..

Today I go pick up the 700R4 trans package and Global West coil over kit..

Well, just thought I would update.. Should have it back together on the road by Christmas

For the next few months it will be "a mod a DAY".. I need help [Wink]

Nope [Frown]

Its funny.. the car looks GREAT in pics and from 10 feet away.. but up close there were just too many f'ups and shoddy workmanship. I hated even taking it to cruise night for fear people would think I did the work.. like my wife said "might as well do it right the first time".. [Smile]

Some how I just knew this would happen to you! You are a perfectionist...(and so am I BTW)....and perfectionists are hard to please. I probably would have done the same thing. The bad part about all of this is your MOD DISEASE which comes right along with everything else. [Eek!]
But in the end you will be satisfied when it is done right and is to your liking.

Keep us posted on the progress with lots of pictures! [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
