If you remember, A local classic car club around here had a car show about 3 weeks ago. There were about 300+ cars there, with about 80% being classics. Out of all of the years I've gone there, I have never seen anything newer than early 80s win anything. So after about 6 hours of showing the car and the judging finished, I left to go to a party. I left b4 they handed out the awards. WELL, I got a phone call last night from the sponsor telling me I had an award to pick up. I went by this morning a picked up my plate for 5th place. Its not the 1st or 2nd place I'm use to picking up for my specific class, but it was 5th place overall against some very nice classic rides. I am very happy with that. Also, I was the only Fbod there.
I entered a show last month open to all years. Not only was mine the only car made after 1972, I was the only Camaro there in a show with about 100 cars!
Oh well. I had a good time!
