I've always wondered about build numbers too... When you join the SSOA I would assume they keep a tally of all the build numbers... what is the percentage of Camaro SS production from 1996-2002 who's owners are a member of the SSOA? I'd imagine its a pretty small percentage as a whole, but how many members are in this Association? Would be cool to see a list of all the SLP build numbers in the SSOA registry. By the way, mines a 97... SLP #0387, Anniversary build #0050.

My 2002 SS SLP build # is no where close to yours.Mine is Build #0036 and 35th Anniversary LE Build #47. It was one of the first 2002's built, in the 1st batch of 100 SS'.

these #s could have been lower...cos I ordered my car the day after I got back from seeing the LE's unveiled @ Carlyle. this was back in July 01. by Nov noone knew where my car was! since the dealer was in trouble & had just the one allocation, I think they may have sold my car to someone else So, I didn't get the one I have til March 02, which was getting closer to the cut off date than back in July 01.
