It's all Gino's fault that my car threw a code while sitting in traffic on Friday. Stopped by a Pontiac dealer at 5:40 PM to see if they could at least read the code with a Tech II. Of course no one was around who knew how to use it!!
So on Sunday drove from Oakville to Ottawa (5 hours) staring at an SES light the whole way.

So.....a friend helped me out with a Wi-Fi problem with my laptop computer on the weekend and now I can not access either of my Linksys systems in Oakville or Ottawa. This means NO INTERNET ACCESS at home until I can figure out what happened!!

I knew it was too good to be true. Gino had left us alone in the Great White North ... 'til now.
I was driving home last night in my nice clean silver Jeep, the roads were clear, not much traffic, when I see a large puddle of 'water' up ahead. It went across the whole road. Weird I thought, since the road was dry and the snow has all melted. So I tense up and drive through the puddle, cursing that I was getting my Jeep all dirty. I drive a little further, and I start to smell something. The smell was familar ... DIESEL FUEL!!!!!!!!!
I raced home, got out of the Jeep, and looked ... black tar all over the wheel wells, fenders, rocker panels and tailgate. Luckily I had some bug and tar remover. An hour & a half later the tar was removed, Jeep washed and a new coat of wax applied.

Piles of parts.....sounds like some serious weight reduction has been going on.
Thanks
Okay. I was in the attic last night and did find the pump. The Zed's under 3,100 lbs with about a 1/4 tank of gas.

The storms last weekend fried my USB high speed modem on my home computer. My internet provider sent me a new and improved modem via courier, but Gino removed the CD with the new driver from the box, before it was shipped. I got the modem, but no CD. Thanks, Gino!

It's all Gino's fault that there has been a poacher in my condo parking space (the one I paid BIG bucks for) all week. I am way past pissed about this.
As I type this I am waiting for the By-law Enforcement Officer to come and ticket and have the POS towed.
Saturday I had the SS out for a quick run to the store. When I came back the garage door would not go up . BROKEN SPRING . SS outside Truck inside the garage . Lucky we had friends over that could help me lift the door and swap the vehicles.
Now today I have to find someone to replace the springs.

Ed do you have torsion springs or the ones on the side of the garage door? Either springs are easy to replace. You can get them from a garage door company on Van Born just east of Beech Daily. Recently I had to replace a torsion spring on my old garage door. That place in Taylor was one that would sell me the torsion springs. No one else would not.
AS IF THE Garage door wasnt enough...................The wife called me to the downstairs bathroom because of a noise . Well it turns out to be a bird stuck in the exhaust vent trying to get out. Now I have to take it apart and see if the bird has Died ,gotten out or is stuck somewhere in the flex tubing out of the house.
Either way THANKS ALOT for the preferential treatment over the weekend. If the Dam thing Dies and starts to smell GUESS Who I'le be blaming.......................

Both springs are on the top of the door. I'll replace both at the same time so the other dosent cause problems next week. For less than $180 to have both done isnt a bad price. This way I know they are done right those springs are something I dont care to mess around with. Expecially with the SS inside.

Shame on him for selling his 35th Anniversary! Fbodfather will not be pleased.
It's also Gino's fault that my mower kicked a rock out yesterday and shattered my doorwall window. Thanks Gino! Now the money I was going to use for other Camaro events may be in jeaporady! Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002
