I don't know of any Camaro clubs, but when I was at Carson, they used to have an informal car show every Saturday night, if the weather was good, over in the K-Mart parking lot behind Big O tires off of Powers BLVD. My SS arrived last night at 615 PM (1815 for the military minded folks) Joe the truck driver had some other nice rides in his truck like Dale Jr's #8 racing car, a 70 Vette going to Australia, etc. I was only interested in mine. We took off for a short cruse last night then I put it away and went over every inch of the car.
I really thought the high elevation here (6300 ft) would effect the horsepower, but I didn't really notice any major difference.
I have some pics, I'll download them this morning.
