For those of you who havent seen it: GO SEE IT! Its awesome. Sort of a matrix meets romeo and juliet meets vampires and werewolves.
Ive seen just about every vampire and werewolf movie made, from the Lon Chaney and Bela Lugosi classics to Howling, Bram Stoker's, American Werewolf in Paris, Dracula 2000, and From Dusk Till Dawn.
I have to say that I think Underworld is quite possibly one of the best vampire/werewolf films I have EVER seen. Cant wait for the sequel.
Did anyone else see it, enjoy it? Whats your favorite part?
I think my favorite part is any scene that includes Kate Beckinsale wearing tight vinyl clothing. Oh, yeah, baby...

my favorite vampire movie would have to be "Interview with the Vampire". As far as vampire movies go..that one was least cheesy. I like. "Queen of the Damned" SUCKED!!!!!! I do want to see this "Underworld" movie, though I don't dig romantic crap....not too much of it anyway....Me like BLOOD-SHED!!.

There is actually only 1 semi-romantic scene in the entire movie. Blondie and beckinsale kiss once, briefly, but you can see through her facial expression and body language that both of them are falling in love. Its not a romantic story in the classic sense, but the sequel im sure will go further into the love story.

Saw it yesterday and thought it was very entertaining. Only problem I had was at theyrange they were shooting it would be almost inmpossible to miss. The guys with the auto must have went to the German School of Warfare. They could not hit the borad side of a barn.. She was pumping out some real firepower!!

I plan on seeing it! I've heard by many reviews it IS the best vampire/werewolf movie. And it's a mix between Matrix and Blade. Both great movies. Hmmm, when can I find time to see it. Between hustling at the pool hall and parties

TYPICAL Hollywood marksmanship. I was outraged by the same sort of unrealistic ballistics in "once Upon a Time in Mexico". How can anyone miss with a machine gun? If someone (or many people) is shooting at you with a machine gun - you're dead!

true, but art doesnt always imitate life.
In all, still a good movie. Matrix wasnt exactly accurate when it comes to the ballistics stuff, but still was sweet to watch.
