I know this has been asked before, but I can't forthelifeofme find it!! [Confused]

Does anyone know what the Camaro SS font is & where to find a resizeable, printable format??

I need it for....um....a special project, let's just say..... [Big Grin]

I believe its not any standard font-its a GM design.

I remember that being asked some time ago and I had the guy send me the fonts (or I downloaded them from a site [Confused]

) Anyway-
Camaro=911 Porscha and SS=MS Sans Serif font
It may not be exact, but it's pretty close
I want to do some t-shirts soon

Can you open Adobe Illustrator files?
If you can I can send you a file containing the "CAMARO" and "SS" logos. I've ripped them from PDF brochures so they are exact... as far as I can see anyway [Smile]

The Camaro font is called "Porscha" and can be downloaded for free from many of the font web sites.

I've duplicated the SS logo using 'jpg' files such as included in the SSOA logo and modifying using a picture editor.

HEY HEY HEY...I have the font on my computer at home. It's actually the font that PORSCHE uses. I dont know if GM owns the 'rights' to it or not, but I do have it! I can send the file to ya when i get home if you'd like [Smile]

I thought the SS font was Arial. If you open Word and type "SS" in 72 point Arial bold, you can see. [Big Grin]

This is teh font that is on the front and rear where "Camaro" is spelled out. This is NOT the Font of the fender "SS." Hope this helps!

Just FYI, neither the 'CAMARO' or 'SS' is any specific font. Both were created exclusively by GM design for Chevrolet. You may find some that are close but without an Illustrator vector file, you're SOL.
