Anyone ever go there? I'm looking into going there for optometry school and was seeing if any ever went there, and if it's a good school or not? [Confused]

Sorry, I don't know of any Optometry programs anywhere except Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR.

I've heard positive things about it if you're looking at other schools as an option.

IU School of Optometry

I live 15 minutes away from Bloomington, and while I'm obviously biased....I've heard it's one of the best.

This is a beautiful area to live and Bloomington is a very vibrant town.

It's only 50 miles south of Indy and has all sorts of recreational activities available. [Big Grin] [Cool]

I don't know.....I just can't "see" myself going there...... [Big Grin]

But I have a distant cousin who I think used to go there in the mid-80s from a discussion I remember having with her a long while back at a family gathering. Don't know if she ever finished or not, she was book-smart but kinda flighty....I think that shcool's been around for a long time, so I'm sure it can't be one of the sucky ones. Sorry I have no other input.

The obvious differences are that Bloomington is a small(er) town....are you comfortable in urban settings?

Bloomington is only an hour south of Indy with all it has to offer....it also will have a much lower cost of living.... [Big Grin]

I don't know about how large Fullerton, Ca. is or even where it is..... [Confused]

Chicago winters have to suck.......
