I'm curious...why no more OE package cars from SLP? Did GM shoot them down, or did SLP just decide not to go that route anymore? The Thunderbolt is their only OE package car left, isn't it?

It's you - the changes are subtle but significant. The wheel is a larger, smoother version of the Z06 wheel- no sharp edges; the side rocker panels are new as is the rear spoiler and front canards. Also, the rear treatment is new with the custom one piece exhaust tip that aids in generating the deep throaty sound, plus a new exhaust system that doesn't moan like a LM.

I see the subtle changes...but its not the usual SLP touch that I've come to expect. The wheels just look like plain Z06 wheels given a casual glance.
Fixed headlights would have been cool.

Interesting. I was hoping that SLP would do the Vette. Now the question. Are they doing it for the 2004 model year right now? And if so can you order one with all the SLP options like we did with the SS.

Thanks ChrisL. Guess I should read the entire post before adding my 2 cents. Didn't think Chevy would let anyone else touch the Corvette before it got out the door but stranger things have happened.

That they do. But I was at SLP's NJ CAD and at a closer look, ...the 'spokes' are all rounded out, ...it is a subtle change, but looks nice. Appearance wise, ...the car looked pretty good, ...like someone else posted, the panel refinements were nicely done (very nice job on the rear fascia (and exhaust) integration. As for 'under the hood' changes...?? I really don't know...
