Well, it's official. My 35th Annv Portfolio was stolen at SLP CAD in NJ last weekend. I have been all through my stuff, (like 9 times) and still no sign of it. Can't begin to tell you how upset I am, that someone from our own community would be that low. I wished these things had matching VIN#s embossed in the leather. Then no one could "resell" them at a swap meet or on EBay or wherever.
Best guess, it happened when so many of us were in the grandstands away from our cars. About half the folks left during that time. Funny, something was gnawing at me about that time, telling me I should go out and secure the vehicle and trailer.
I know it is just a promotional piece, but it really has me shaken.

Damn, sorry to hear bout that I left just my hood open and locked my car at the show, then walked away for not even a min then ran over and shut the hood, lol. For some reason paranoia set in... really a shame that ppl cant willingly show their cars and have other appreciate what expenses ppl do rather then steal crap from others for their own personal gain... very lame and i hope the prick gets his in the end.

I am saddened to hear that. Not so much what was taken, but that it was taken by someone who claims to be "one of us". The people that I know from here would go out of their way to help each other, never steal from anyone!
Someone knows what happened there. Maybe it will turn up. The thief will get his due one day.

Wow Glenn, sorry to hear this.It is hard to imagine that someone from the F-body community would do such a thing.I quit showing my Brickyard with the 35th LE Portfolio last year.I don't even look at it and have it tucked away. While at the Berger Chevrolet Show this year I walked away from my car and some idiot Bozo actually opened my door and jumped in the drivers seat.At least the idiot did not steal anything.Everything I show pretty much is a copy of the original.I will keep a look out for a portfolio for you.

Thanks for the support guys. I almost didn't post this out of embarassment. I did not have it laying around. I used to put it out on fold down section of the back seat. I had, sinced, stop that practice. But I still carried it with all the other display material. Someone, had to rifle through the bags and pull it out.
...anyway, it's gone..

Sorry to hear about that. The nerve of some people.
Hopefully someone out there has a spare that they'd be willing to give up (unfortunately, I'm sure it'll cost you).

Sure is a coincidence - anyone here recognize the seller? Don't you have to have a 35Th LE to get one of those? Hmmm...where's inspector Cluso?

Cy, That's very nice of you. The portfolio that was taken from me was specific to the 35th Annv Limited Edition cars. The cover features a 35th Annv Logo and as stated in prior responses, it has red stitching along the perimeter of the cover. Inside there is some goodies, including a tire guage, tread depth indicator, pad, pen, 35th Annv patch and pin, statistic card, and multi page brochure highlighting the history of the Camaro.

Sorry to hear that your portfolio was stolen. The person who did this dispicable act will get his/hers one of these days as it will come around and bite them where they sit.

When I ordered my portfolio, I did not get a pen. I called to ask about that, and they sent me a whole new one....that's how I came to have 2.....however, I figured the 35th one would be "fancier"..... maybe yours will "mysteriously" turn up complete.....
