I've just emailed my SS info and sent my funds today! My real name is Andrew and I live in Kitchener Ontario. I have owned 4 F-body cars now with my latest new one a 30th Anniversary SS Camaro. I have had the car since August and soon it will be time to put her away. A fellow up here gave me info to this site so I hope you don't mind me putting in my 2 cents here now and then. Here's a bit of background....briefly. Some of you in Michigan or Ohio may know me already. I was down for Superfest 1999 and 2000 in my black and silver 86 Z28 then with the Ontario Camaro Club. I also managed to make it to the NEOCC show in 1999 as well. All were terrific days and well run shows that I really enjoyed. I sold that mint cond. Z in 2000 to buy a house. Now finally this year my job is working out well and decided to go all out for a real nice Camaro once again. The 1997 may not have the HP that the 98 and up LS1's produce but ohhh man you can not beat this car for looks! She has the leather interior and all the SLP options, exhaust and level II Bilstien suspension. I think I am the only one in my general area to have this car and it turns heads like mad when the nicer weather is out . I just love the looks, sound, and power of this Camaro and I am really looking forward to many years of shows, slaloms, and cruises in this machine, and making new friends and finding old ones. Can't wait to get my info packet!

Hey thanks man! How many of us are here? They made 957 of these and I was wondering how many owners are here and how the the production numbers of this car compare to the 35th? Do you run your car at the track at all? I am curious as to your best 1/4 mile E/T. ...I've been to Atlanta...way back 20 years ago

Well you may have some pictures but not of this car. I just got it this past August...too late for the MI. shows. The pics you might have are of my black and silver 86 Z28. The hood louvers were painted silver to match the bottom....and Ontario plates too... What car did you have? I may have slides of your's...

Sure thing! Damn you got a lot of mods done there. Do you ever go to St. Thomas or Grand Bend? About 12 of us from here were at St.Thomas last Sunday. No traction but we all still managed to post our best E/T's

After being down there for Camaro shows and other things I have always felt welcome there. All you folks down there is great! I hope you will make plans to attend the Ontario show that happens around mid June in Niagara Falls area.

Back at the 1999 CSF I brought a all original 50,000 mile 1980 Charcoal Gray Z28 with Oyster interior and a factory M21 HD 4 speed and my son brought his 1979 Berlinetta. At the 2000 CSF I brought my 1999 Bright Rally Red with Neutral leather Z28,my 1997 30th Anniversary Z28 and my son brought the 1979 Berlinetta.I will try to dig up those photos of your Camaro. They were not digital and I do not have a scanner.
