Thinking of doing this mod, anyone out there done it? Is it worth it, if so, what gains are expected?

Hi Travis!

I have the BBK TB on my ride. Unless you plan on adding forced induction, save your $$$ and mod elsewhere - the stock TB will flow just fine.

Having said that, I like mine. After installing it, I had the dreaded 'BBK whistle' (sounded like a s/c, heheheh). That got old fast so I polished out all the sharper edges of the internal duscts with a dremel - walla! No More whistle. Also, the BBK throttle spring is quite stiff - some folks don't like it.

But it does look really nice...
