You have to be in the industry. Being owners of McGee's Auto Service gives us the credentials. Tickets are $10 each, so the biggest expense is hotel & transportation...and even those aren't so bad. It's always pretty easy to find an inexpensive flight to Vegas.

This sounds like a great idea! I work for a company that supplies computers and data to the aftermarket (CCITRIAD) and we're always at the AAPEX show, which happens at the same time. I can get plenty of data concerning events, hotels, etc. We just need to plan it well in advance as I'm told that it's the largest convention that 'Vegas hosts each year.

HHHmmmmm, ...now that's an idea ...Since my brother lives there. Heck I could still be driving a Camaro while visiting. Of course not as 'peppy' as our SS's, but that ol' 6-cyl. vert would still be a lot of fun to cruise down the strip

I'm meaning for the SSOA members, like myself, that don't have an industry tie, if it's an SSOA group event.

Art, I could sign up a few "employees" for the show for the weekend, and if others who can get the passes could do the same, it would be a great way to do this. I am game for planning this for maybe 2004??? Any thoughts guys?

I would be up for this for sure! I have always wanted to go but have had no connections to get in.
