OK, this is my first attempt at posting pictures, so if it doesn't work first try bare with me.

Went down to the ECTA time trails Saturday, a friend wanted to get a new record as this was the last event of the year. His car is the Impala #864. The record was 146.xx, the black 4th gen. Camaro in the pictures was also after it. It bounced back and forth with us finally getting it at 152.9xx. The best the Camaro could go was 150.8xx. The yellow 69 Camaro ran a 195.xxx, he was trying for 200 but just couldn't get there. The fastest time of the day was by the red bike in the pictures, he ran a 249.xxx. That's right 249.xxx.

Dangit! I so want to go to Maxton to see all the vehicles running! Are there any more events this year? If so, and you are attending, let me know. Shoot me an email, I would love to meet up with you and cruise down there.

This was the last event for this year. The last week end in March of 2004 will be the next one. Once I get some questions answered to a couple of their safety rules I want to set my 02 SS up to run down there next year. If the answers come back wrong and I don't want to make the require changes to my car I'll just wait till the 68 is finished.

Cool deal! I can get you with the right person to get your SS setup.......he is very familiar with Maxton, and I believe holds a record or two down there........being Randy Brown. He is a hellacool guy, and he would be more than willing to help you out. He lives over near me, but in Hillsborough. Let me know if you want some contact info. [Smile]
