We're at the hump for this week. I didn't like that 4 letter word from yesterday - SNOW - I'm not ready for that yet. Isn't nature something?
I'm very concerned for our western brothers and sisters fighting the huge fires. My thoughts and prayers for you all.
And to top it off, a huge burst of energy from the sun is due and will disrupt the earth a bit later this week. What else can happen?
Have a great day friends, it's downhill after this!

I just got back from San Jose, California. 90 degrees and sunshine. The fires are on everyone's mind. Lots of pictures of the devastation in the newspapers. One pic showed a whole street with all the houses burned to the ground, but the grass on their lawns, and the trees around their properties, were still lush and green.

Every Elks club I've been in has had good food, cheap drinks, and is predominatly composed of the senior citizen segment of the population (the local club is just across the golf course & around the corner from our house). If you ever visit Oregon, you can get in!

Howdy all...been busy this week so didn't have a chance to check in. I'm spending the evenings putting the winter coats of Zaino on the SS...3 down and we'll see how many more I can get before I have to drive it.
