Chad Henne, the QB from my high school, has accepted a full scholarship to Michigan for next year. He is close to breaking the state record for passing yards. Kerry Collins from the NY Giants is also from my high school.

This will be 2 weeks in a row that Michigan plays a team ranked higher in the BCS standings, yet is giving points to win. I don't get that!
State is ranked 9th, Michigan 13th yet Michigan is favoured by 4

Michigan is favored because on paper, they have a far superior team at ever spot except QB. Recordwise, State has just played better and Michigan has been playing poorly. No one expected State to even come close to doing this well with the loss or Rogers and an uncertain QB.
To beat Michigan, you make them pass, to beat MSU you make them run. Should be a good game, and as a State Alum, I look forward to Ed buying me a beer. Posts: 1296 | From: Saginaw, MI | Registered: May 2000

University of Michigan fan walks into a doctor's office and removes his hat to reveal a frog sitting on his head. The doctor asks, "How can I help you?" The frog replies, "I was wondering if you could help me get this wart off my butt."
Two University of Michigan fans were walking down the street when they came upon a dog lying on the sidewalk licking and cleaning his groin like dogs do. The first University of Michigan fan says to the second, "Boy, I wish I could do that." The second University of Michigan fan replies, "Yeah, me too. But I wouldn't try it." The first University of Michigan fan asks, "Why not?" The second University of Michigan fan replies, "Because I'm afraid the dog might bite me."
Q: What do you call a good looking girl on the University of Michigan campus? A: A visitor.

Sizzle I believe you have your facts messed up a little . But being where you went to school I guess we can forgive your perception .
1) A frog gives warts he doesn't have them.
2) All dogs in Ann Arbor know better. If your on the street you could end up in a Chineese resteraunt.
3)AND most important the "Visitors" to the UofM campus are usually Blonds looking for East Lansing . If they are to stay in Ann Arbor We have them loose the Clairol Posts: 3091 | From: Canton Mi. | Registered: Oct 2002

Myself being a MSU grad, and upset I must watch the game in my home in NC instead of being there in person, can't wait to see how loud and roudly the State fans are at kickoff. Going to be a great game, but with the crowd advatage, I just don't see UM winning this close one. MSU will be healthy and ready to play after the by-week they just had.

I'm pumped for this game! It's going to be a great one for sure. U-M is a very good team as always, but if the Spartans can keep playing like they have been for the past several weeks, I think they'll pull it off tomorrow in East Lansing. It's theirs to win or lose. They are their own worst enemy sometimes (i.e. Lousiana Tech )
I guess I may be a little biased being a State grad.

It's funny, when we lost to MSU (44-28) way back in the second game of the season (9/6), RU got so much grief based on MSU's record from last year. But now, it doesn't look so bad! (Of course, I think the big difference between last year and this year is Smoker.) Hell, we scored more points on them than the University of Michigan did! We actually led them into the second quarter 21-14, before MSU pulled away and scored 30 unanswered points. Here's the box score for anyone interested:

GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used to like you JeffY.
The game was painful to watch, although the prayer at the end provided a glimmer of hope. Chris Perry is a tank and State's receivers had stone hands. Maybe next year.
Another tough one this Saturday for the Spartans, but all is not lost.
Basketball is right around the corner as well!!
Question: How do you know when your sitting next to a University of Michigan graduate at the bar? Answer: Wait a few minutes...he'll tell ya.
