A friend of mine from the Eastern Michigan Camaro Club stopped by while my son and I were working on the Suburban body. His friend loaned him this SSR to drive for a bit.Thought I would take some pictures of it since it is a cool vehicle.

Brian...these exhaust tips are what Mark is looking for to put on his 35th LE.

I saw a yellow one going to I95 last weekend in Virginia. I'm still not real sure what I think of it.

Sorry, but these SSRs do absolutely nothing for me (and neither does the HHR or whatever that thhing is). Then when I saw the price....I knew it was destined to fail. I applaud Chevy for taking chances with their styling, but this one doesn't hit the mark for me.

Saw it in Bowling Green ...sorry GM, but if I had that kind of money to spend it would be on a 'vette.

I've predicted that the SSR will end up a side note in the history books along with the Cadillac Allante and Buick Reatta.

I agree that it is a lot of money and my GMC Sonoma could probably actually haul more payload.Actually for what it cost,I could get a new Suburban.

..... Edsel, Prowler, Thunderbird, Camaro, Firebird, ..... [Frown]

I still think the development money would have been better spent on the 5th gen F-body.

I like the styling , but Art is right, for the price I would buy a vette. The missed the mark when they did not put an LS1/LS6 in it, and they should have used the vette suspension in it as well to keep costs down, yet make it fast and handle well. Needs a 6spd too. [Frown]
