The tank is custom made by Rock Valley and has a high volume Walbor pump. Its baffled and uses another design to act as a sump. Seems very well made, oh.. its 18 gallons
The radiator was custom made for me by Alumrad in Kingman AZ.. It not only has a built in trans cooler (heavy duty) but has bung holes installed so that I can run the SPAL fan relays right off the radiator instead of through the PCM.
Notice that it also has the radiator inlet and outlet on the same side. This should make for a cleaner install of the LS1 since the hose routing will be closer. all this, the relays/sensors and the custom mounts for the SPAL fans for $600 shipped.. compare that to B-Cool
Just waiting on the stage II heads, modified wiring loom and notched oil pan.. Oh and for the car to be done at the paint shop..
The car should be out of the paint shop in about 3 weeks (without front end) then we will install the LS1, coilover suspension, new subframe, Wilwood brakes and all. After that it goes back to the paint shop to get the front fenders, cowls and hood.. then a little tuning an off to the interior shop.
Cant wait to cruise it will all the west coast folks next summer
