Morning all ............. we're slowly sneaking up on the weekend ............... y'all have a great day
The picture of the day ................. again from the great state of Colorado ............ Vic Miklich and his blown AM/SP '57 Thunderbird ............. amply powered by a GMC blown, Hilborn injected 430 cu.in. Lincoln engine, this little white bird (which weighed over 4,000 lbs) could turn high 11's at over 120 mph in the rarified 6,500 ft air at Continental Divide Raceway outside of Castle Rock ........... this little beast still had the standard Ford three speed transmission and it was a sight to watch Vic row through the gears ........... no B&M Hydro for these guys
The only thing that confuses me about these pictures is the FORD on the door in relationship to Kenz & Lesiie ............. K&L was a Lincoln-Mercury dealer ............ didn't sell Fords at all
