As most of you know I now work for a Chevrolet dealer. Well I have to order a 04 Impala Indy pace car. I did not even know there was such a thing. I have looked everywhere to find info on ths car. Does anyone have any info they can give me? Pics would be great. Thank you all for any help. [Big Grin]

I have heard nothing about it... where did you get your info? Sounds like mybe the SS Impalla will pace the race? GM doesn't make a "pace car" edition... they might have an option where you can get the decals but they haven't done that in a while.... my guess is your looking for the supercharged SS? [Confused]

I can tell you this they are keeping that puppy under wraps. I been doing a quiet search since the birdy whispered in my ear.
The Dealership I work for has 2 Impala SS's and they are quite spectacular for their class.
But the drivetrain is not really new just new to the Chevys.
I'll let you know if I find out anything.

Its no secret... next year will have a V8. [Wink] Technically the supercharged 6 is new to chevrolet... no chevy has used the series II 3800 charged motor.... but they have been used for years in the buicks and pontiacs...
