The long awaited 5th installment is out on bookshelves.
"Wolves of the Calla"
"Time is a face on the water," stretching and contorting reality as gunslingers Roland, Eddie, Susannah, Jake and their talking pet "billy-bumbler" Oy continue their quest to prevent the destruction of the Dark Tower.

Love Steven King.......
The Dark Tower Series is hard to follow, esp. between installments.....and esp. if you read a lot......(which I do...it's my escape, if you will..........)
I think his writing is brilliant....(dark, but brilliant, nevertheless)
(OMG!!! another thing MMMM_ERT and I agree on!!!!)

I recently started reading the Dark Tower Series. I'm about half way through the second installment right now. I haven't found it too hard to follow yet, but that may change as I get further into it. Good reading so far!!

We both love f-bodies...theres gotta be more we agree on.
Agree on his writing...its very dark but brilliant. The DT series is his best work over any of his horror novels. If you read some of his interviews...the DT series is his baby and why its still going strong after 20 years.
Steve....I think Wizard and Glass ( the last installment #4) came out in 1997. I re-read the first four books this summer in preparation of Wolves. They are every bit as awesome to read the 2nd time.
Here is a really cool fan site if anyone is interested.
