Nothing wrong with SLP SFCs - lots of us have them on our cars. They fit and work great.

Whozzat? They do make for a nice improvement (at the cost of 40+ pounds). I still do get rattles out of my t-tops, though (only because the plastic trim isn't centered well and rubs on one end).

Most everything I've ever bought for my car from SLP always needed to be modified to fit. . . . Posts: 608 | From: Schaumburg, IL | Registered: Sep 2000

I've had mine on for about three years now. They went on without a hitch, (I also had them tack welded), and they made a huge difference in the car. My only complaint is that they hang down a little lower than some others and if you lower your car it could cause some clearance problems. I've had problems at a couple of alignment shops getting mine up on their lift.

Well I would say their quality is acceptable. But I believe there is a superior product that is more aesthetically pleasant than the SLP version. You may contact me via Email for details.

Ground Clearance: A D.Goetz Fabrications design criteria as well as not having to cut heat shields or fuel line movement to get them to fit. If my SFC's hit something you will have damaged your exhaust system as well

I love my SLP SFC's. They look great, and since I have their LT headers and the Bilstein Ultra Suspension and have not scraped anywhere <yet...knock wood> clearance is not a problem for me. I overcame the weight problem by increasing my hp. Posts: 106 | From: St. Augustine, FL. | Registered: Aug 2003

Maybe I should have mentioned in my earlier post that we're planning on getting a convertible SS in the next couple of months (after the 68 'Vette sells), and my intention right now is to put the Goetz SFC's on it. (Time to update your sales projections Don).
