Dropped the SS off at the dealership this morning hoping that they can find the popping sound in the dash. Have been putting it off for about 4 months, been afraid to leave the car with them based on previous experience. Left my truck there when it was a couple months old and came back to find a big ding in the driver's door. Will spend the day worrying about my baby, she only has 5000 miles on her.

I wish you good luck. Hopefully the dealer can duplicate the concern. [Smile]

Got my car back, it appears to be fixed. Will go for a drive tomorrow to see. As the popping noise only happens at speeds of around 70 or greater I was unable to do much testing on the way home from the dealership in rush hour traffic. The car was in great shape when I picked it up, no dings or damage of any kind. My son is home this week for Thanksgiving and to see his sick mother, he went with me to pick the car up. Now Robert likes cars and loves my 2 Camaros, but he isn't a true honest to god car nut. Robert couldn't believe that I had the service writer walk with me out to where they had parked my car and we walked around it together to inspect it for any damage prior to me signing their paper work.

Anyway my baby is home nice and safe.
