Basically, it would restrict purchase of violent video games by kids. Sort of like R-rated movies, and parental advisory warnings on cds. Im actually impressed, since its coming out of Cali.

Personally, I play these "violent" video games, and have for years. Havent killed anyone yet, and while I enjoy them, they dont dominate my life, and they are a constructive way for me and my siblings to work out tension between us by shooting each other multiple times in a virtual environment. Thoughts, opinions?

I remember playing army as a kid and playing with caps guns and the like. I haven't gone out and done anyone a bit of harm.

I don't accept their arguments at all.

I used to do the same thing.. had all the Army stuff.. went out with the cap guns and even cap grenades. I ended up joining the military.. and havent hurt a soul. [Cool]

I agree with this law, though.. some of the games out there are just brutal and bloody, and with todays graphics its just like watching a R rated movie, which I wouldnt want my daughter seeing or playing.

Good stuff.

Every once in a while we get something right out here.....I'm a big Medal of Honor gamer and i enjoy the combat as it's a good way for me to vent after a long day at work ...and i enjoy the history of WWII...
