Maybe this has already been covered, but, I was at gmpartsdirect.com searching for multiple parts and THIS showed up in my query. I didn't search for it specifically....maybe it's trying to tell me I need this or something.....very [Cool] nonetheless.....anyone need one? I heard these puppies make closer to 700 hp. They have a street and a rowdy version (big solid lifter cam) of this engine. As usual, GM is underrating this one. Is this wild or what? This is the puny "street" version. Here's the description... just add oil and gas...

One thing the listing may have not mentioned is that you may need to refinance your home to buy it! [Smile]

Dollar for Dollar you can't beat a GM crate motor for performance..... guys that build their own motors are nuts. I prefer to just open a box and slip it in....

Of course!! At least one, maybe two!
And only ~$11,000. I probably have that much in my 383ci. and only 2/3rds the HP.
Oh well, maybe next year?
