John passed away yesterday evening.

RIP John. When I spoke with his family out at SEMA, there wasn't much hope, but they were holding strong.

I grew up watching John race in the grass-roots racing of the super classes in NHRA. He was a good man and will be missed by many. My condolences to his wife, brother and family.

Morning Dave, I got the news last night. As you know we raced with John for many years in the 60's and 70's, first in Super Stock and then in Pro Stock. Not only did John have a true gift when it came to anything mechanical, he was a truely nice guy. He will be missed by many many people.
