I bought these 12"X12" solid granite floor tiles about 2 years ago. They match the granite vanity top I installed in my master bath. That is what 6 days off in a row will do to you! The wife did not even ask me to do this.Just befor Christmas I bought me a new wet saw to cut that granite.Boy was that worth the money! Cuts like butter even though these tiles are 3/8" thick! I guess I am out of the doghouse for now. I have to get the house ready to sell in the spring so now is a good time to get these house projects done.

Nice work! I've done ceramic tile before. Laying tile is kinda fun! I guess if you did it everyday it would be a drag, but once in a while it's o.k.

That looks great! I'm getting ready to do about 600 sqft of foyer/hall/kitchen/mudroom with ceramic and not looking forward to it. What tile saw is that? I need to get one, and was trying to figure out if the $88 one at Home Depot would suffice, or if I needed to go with the $200 one.

This is a cheap Chicago brand wet saw that I bought from Harbor Frieght Tools. It was on sale before Christmas for $59. Can't rent one for 2 day for that much from Home Depot. It may not be the fanciest saw,but it is all metal and works great! Good luck on your tile project. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Cy, you're slipping (and not on that shiny new floor).
I need to replace the battery in my PC.Ever since I had the mother board replaced it has never kept time.At least I think it is the battery since I did buy one right after the mother board was replaced and still had that concern.I guess it is time to get out the trusty digital volt meter and check the battery. Mike ,I would love to get the house ready for the market very soon.I need a smaller house with a huge garage! I just found out on New Years Eve that my son is moving out.Won't need a 4 bedroom 3 bath house! Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002
