I'm another convert. I was going to go with the SLP SFCs, but was convinced by others to go with the DGs. Well I did and I am very happy. The fit was perfect and the quality is top notch.

I highly recomend these to tighten up any F-body. My car used to squeak and rattle on the back raod to my office, now it is beautifully silent...except for the LS1

Don can be reached at dgoetz3@cinci.rr.com

Don's 'vert SFC's look the same, but don't have the 'A' frame members that bolt to the tunnel brace. The 'vert SFC's are a single square member that bolt to the front sub-frame and to the trailing arms, and not to the tunnel brace.

Not yet, my recovery is taking longer than I planned from getting rear ended. I ended up spending all the money I was saving on my wife's Christmas stuff (bling for her Suburban)

When the dust settles, I'll be getting money back from the insurance company of the guy that rear ended me. I'll use that to pay back my medical and there should be enough left over to buy my mods.

I still plan on:
Stage II LS6 or 5.3 heads (around 11:1 CR)
.581 224/228 112 LSA cam
3.73 rear gears
underdrive pulleys
ORPS for my LTs
Preditor programmer
and hopefully those nice new Patriot adjustable rockers. (I know I don't need them, but I like them)

It'll probably be a few months, but still a good late winter or early spring project. That is fine as it is snowing like a muther right now as I type this and in the condition my back is right now I wouldn't be able to do the work. My nephew helped me with the SFCs and they were a peice of cake to install.

Brian tell me about it. Don's SFC's and a few other mods to the SS cost me dearly I ended up having to get her a new diamond ring for Christmas to go along with her other goodies [Eek!]
