Will a Formula style spoiler (2002 type) bolt onto a Trans Am rear hatch? My Dad hates the tall spoiler on his T/A Hawk. Thanks in advance.

I knew it wouldn't work that way, but is the reverse true as well? He'd really like to have a low spoiler on the T/A.

The Formula spoiler is integral with the deck lid; the T/A spoiler is a bolt-on. The only way to get a Formula spoiler on a T/A is to change the whole hatch, glass included. Lots of money and work just to change a dpoier. It may be simpler to buy some aftermarket spoiler.

Thanks Jeff, couldn't remember how it all worked with the T/As. Glad to see you're still around this board. How's the new gig going?
