How is it possible for How wheels
to already have die casts out for sale
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3577512243&category=45352

So the design was so secret that GM officals
speaking of it were fired, while a mass production
toy was being produced in exactly scale detail
clearly for some time as they are already at market. How was Hot wheels so trusted?

Just seems kind of odd, I mean the toy company
or any of its employees could have leaked the design.

Its very normal for the OE's to work with the model companies so that the models come out when the real car does. Any one in any tool shop could spill the beans as well - I used to work with all the model companies before any one saw the real car.

Just figured that with the internet,
someone along the assembly line would
be talking. Look at the lenghts people
go to to take photos of a covered phototype.
I think a model is more acurate than a
car with 5 bars and 2 covers on it.
