Author Topic: Indy 500 support vehicle ?NFB CaminoLS6 1st Gear Member # 2041 posted                    About 1985 or so Chevy used an El Camino SS as an "Official Truck" support vehicle at Indy. Does anyone know more about this El Camino and what happened to it? Fbodfather? It was bright yellow with the Monte Carlo SS nosepiece and a black bottom. Woo hoo! By the way, I remember this picture from a poster that Chevy made to promote the trucks of the race. I think I still have the poster someplace, but mine's in bad shape.
