Thank God Its Friday. What a week. And now computer problems to go along with it. I need a new ethernet card so if I am not on for an extended period its because the computer is down and am waiting for the cable company to bring a new one.

$#@$%# Snow .......... %$#$#@%$ Bubba's and Bubba-ette's ......... These people couldn't drive in the snow if their lives depended on it ............ saw three wrecks, two 4x4 pickups in the ditches, and one SUV in a ditch on the way to work this morning ........... and the SS is such a pleasure to drive in the snow .......... oh well, have a good one anyway
The picture(s) of the day ......... east coast, west coast, all around the country .......... from the east ....... Ted Thomas in the "Jade Grenade" running against Terry Capp at Indy in 1974 ............. and from the west ........James Warren in the Warren-Coburn-Miller "Rain for Rent" car at Irwindale in 1974 .............. two of the prettiest cars in the country at that time

It's snowing, suppose to get a inch and half. Hope that's all. Nearly everyone stayed home, we have 14 people in our department and there are 3 of us here. Was supposed to do some testing today, but the people I need to get the hardware from aren't here yet.
Ain't it nice to live where we usually don't get much snow and when it does come everything shuts down, even for a inch of the white stuff. Schools are closed today. This coming from a guy that was raised in Michigan, spent a year in Alaska and 7 years in upstate New York.

Looks like we are starting to finally thaw out a little. The main roads are for the most part thawed out, but the side streets and parking lots are still a bi**h. Have a good weekend.

Here in the Tyler, Texas area, we have sunshine and a down-right blistering 43 degrees. The high today is going to be around 57 and the low tonight at 39. By the way, my wife and I are going to look at a 2000 SS today in Dallas...wish us luck. Has a LOT of miles on it, but it's what we want and it's in our price range. If it's in good shape, we're taking it!

After a long trudge through the slush & ice to the MAX (light rail) station, I made it to work today. Hope Steve can pick me up so I don't have to walk home in the dark and risk falling on my butt after a slip!
