We're at the hump for this week and back into the deep freeze. 4 inches of the white stuff supposed to arrive today - oh well, just something that makes us love spring even more!
After a great day friends, it's all downhill from here!

Morning all ................. halfway there ............. have a good one.
The picture of the day .......... "Four versus Four" ................ four 400 cu.in. injected Buicks and four wheel drive versus four cylinders ........... no contest, right ?
Wrong ............. this classic shot of Tommy Ivo's four engined "Showboat" exhibition car versus the little blown Pontiac Tempest powered CC/FD of Sawyer-Vertees-Toler with Tom Toler at the controls ............. the little four banger could run 8.25 at over 182 mph ............ and the result of this race ......... Toler to victory lane and Ivo in the weeds

1 deg F with a windchill of -20 the bay is all steaming over looks eery... thought the car would bust a belt this am as when I started it it sounded like one of the belts (the 78 Grand LeMans ) was too tight and was giving off noise.
boy I sure wish I was still living in FL right now
BTW Mt washington right now as of 8am is -44 def F with a windchill of -95 deg F
no days off for me ...working all weekend

Tad chilly here today and we got the forecasted snow ...about 6" as the shovel measures. First time in a couple of years that our snowbanks at the street are high enough that we can't see cars coming

Revenge from the frozen northland. To borrow from a well known phrase....In everyone's life a little "snow" must fall
Walked to the bus in -31 deg C (-24 deg F) this morning. Thankfully the wind was light so wind chill was not a big factor.

It's supposed to be around 70 here today. And here I am leaving Friday to go skiing while most here seem to want OUT of the cold and snow. Maybe we can figure out a trade......
