What an nice surprise to see the brown truck this morning, a full ten days before expected. also a nice surprise is how strong the new support brace looks. I'm gonna use steel wool and sand papers on the inside to shine it up a bit, then hopefully get it installed Monday.

Those look really good. I ordered the complete CME system for my car before the sale closed this month, mine came with the stock SS exhaust. I hope my kit comes with the new CME's. I was going to get the extra support welded on just to be safe anyway. Hopefully, now, I won't have to. Chrome them. Humm. That would look sharp. I may have to.

You'll love them that much more. MUCH easier to keep clean.
That is, if you like chrome CME tips. At least think about it. I'm sure glad I did.
Ahh Chrome!! nice to see the extra support piece on there

...The brace looks good, ...(just curious) is that something SLP is now adding to the tips?
As for chrome. I talked with someone in BG last year (from Florida) that had his chromed, ...they looked awsome.

yes, this is the way they come from SLP now. I was going to have a brace welded on the back, as per a suggestion on LS1.com, but when I ordered them, I found out SLP had started doing that themselves.

Just wondering, how much did those tips cost you?
