If it's a stick, I wouldn't change the fluid; it's not necessary. If it's an automatic, take it to the dealer or try a transmission place. They need to drop the pan when they do the change. And be sure to tell them to change the transmission filter too.
Just be sure they know where the lift points are an FBody so you don't get the infamous front fender scrunch when they lift it.

I already have the fluid and filter... I was gonna do it this past summer since my friend had a garage full of goodies (his dads a mechanic) but even his jack was too large to use. btw the famous WS3 IS automatic
Would i be better off just investing in a Low Jack for my car and doing it myself... or am I gonna mess something up?

It's like a lot of other things that you do the first time.....do you want to take a chance on your own car or not? If it was me doing it the first time, I would try to get a little advice or help from someone who has already done it. Either that or pay someone to do it and watch what they do.....then you can do it yourself the next time.
It isn't a hard job but you can have a big sloppy mess on your hands when you drain the fluid (when dropping the pan) if you don't have a large enough drain pan to use. And it is a lot easier if your car is on a lift too. Then there may be a few "tricks" to applying the new gasket when you put the pan back on (if you want I can check my factory shop manual to see what it says).
Maybe somebody will respond to your post that has done it themselves so you can better judge if you want to tackle it on your own.

You really need a jack and some jack stands. Ramps would be good too........it would be best to have both the front and back of the car up in the air and level. And you should use a torque wrench when you retighten the pan bolts (You'll need the torque setting for this). And you will probably spend a lot more than 130 bucks for all that stuff too if you have to buy it.

FOR 130.00, i'm sure thats a flush which is more than just dropping the pan and changing 5 quarts. It actually circulates new fluid even through the TC. It replaces + or - 15 quarts.. You will get more "new" fluid with a flush than just dropping the pan..

Yah it was a full flush... I take it thats alot better than just changing the 5 quarts or so?
