Low 60's yesturday with the top down. Beautiful weather for a top down cruise listening to the sweet sound of my gmmg. Now its been snowing and already have an inch on the gound with more to come. If it stays cold enough, and snows enough, were off sledding on the golf course. Big long runs.
What a difference a day makes
Will keep ya posted as the day unfolds

As of 10:45 am. We have 3/4" of snow in NC. Exact location for us is Lake Lure/Chimney Rock NC. About and hour east of Hendersonville and Asheville, and a little over 2 hours west of Charlotte.
The sledding meter is at a 3. 1 being not possible, 10 being great conditions (at least 6"'s)
We have steep runs up to 200 yards, and one that is a monster par 5 .

A bit of snow here in Charlotte too. It has stopped for the moment. But I am not looking forward to the forecasted ice storm tonight and tommorow. I have gasoline for the generator and kerosene for the kerosene heater. And (for whatever reason, I'll never understand) I suppose all the locals are buying out all the bread and milk in town too....LOL!

Well the snow is mixing with sleet now. Roughly 2" on the ground. So we ventured out with the sled. I would say the sledding is a 7 on a scale of 1-10. My 8 year old daughter loves it. We tried four steep hills that border the golf course. Basically you start near the adjacent holes green, which is much higher up, and rocket ship down the hill toward the other holes fairway. Once you achieve a speed that is near out of control, you slide into the other fairway where you hope you can safely slow down.
One down, will venture out again as the stuff continues to pile up

Gonna get hit with snow and sleet later tonight! We already have about 5" on the ground form the past 2 snowfalls. Just enough to do some cross country skiing! THough I have yet to go skiing this year. Almsot too cold to do it, haha.
I'll probably clean up my car since I'm selling it. Its a bit of a mess

If she's not helping me polish up the SS (she usually does wheel detail, and she's good at it! ), then what the heck, we'll sled it. Mom doesn't like the snow . She falls down to much on the steep hills. lol

Cytruffle's Winter Fun Guide:
1) Cross-country skiing -- tie two fence slats to feet; attempt to slide feet forward on grassy surface
2) Sledding -- place posterior on garbage-can lid; sit in center of slightly inclined street; push off with arms; go "WHEEEEE!"; avoid oncoming traffic
