LeAnn and I just got back from sledding adventure #2. Its a 10 out of a 10. We offically on my deck only have 2 inches of precip, but its mostly sleet.(over 4" in the grass) Ever since 1 pm, our snow has been sleet. And lots of it. You can hear it bounce off the windows. If this stuff was still snow, I would guess we would be at some where in the 6-12 inch range.
With all the sleet, we have a ice (looks like a big snow cone)glaze everywhere. Makes the sledding surface very fast. We excellerate so quickly, we seldom make it to the end because our sled looses control. Its been a blast. Our winter storm warning has been extended through tomorrow. More nasty stuff on the way. Everything in the upstate SC and all of NC is shut down. My chances of getting out tomorrow are looking slim
Will sled again in the morning.
Just wanted you northerners to feel better. Your not the only ones with the nasty stuff.

Only if you own a sled!
And your old bones can stand the cold. I am not a teenager anymore even though Cindy thinks I act like one most of the time

It looks like a block of ice outside. No way a vehicle would make it up our road. Steep and up. Looks like more freezing drizzle on the way.
And now the weather man just said more snow tonight and tomorrow. NOW THIS IS GETTING OLD.
We don't function well in this kind of weather. Espacially when I build homes for a living.
