I am going to buy a new set of wheels within 2 weeks. I am torn between the Cragar SS or the ZR1 in black. I do have the "Berger Style" rear panel, so there is some black on the SS.
Both sets will be 17x9 front and 17x11 rear...
Help me decide!!! [Wink]

Neither image is my SS, but it is the same color as mine. (Just a little Photoshop fun!)

I'd go with the top one, but I would go with a smaller size. Can't go wrong either way!

The Cragars. Don't go for the others because of the $, you'll be thinking about it everytime you see a set. Go with the ones you like best, and wait till you have the $ if necessary.

I'm with DaddySS. I like the Cragars myself too. But like Rich (DaddySS) said, ...choose the ones YOU like best, ...don't consider the cost. I know, the cost is a big issue, but if the ones you like best cost more, ...wait longer to get them.

just found out that the cragar wheels dont come in a 17x11.. i really want the wider tires for the rear... [Frown] I guess im looking more and more at the Black ZR1's.. I like both sets equally.. it depends on my mood. Anything is better than my stock ZR1's now which are that silver painted version.. anyone want them? 300.00! lol

I like the Cragars better, but that is the ones I would choose. Pick the ones you like. You are paying for them,so you must be happy with them.

I pesonally love the look of the black ZR1's.

It's simply a matter of classy vs. agressive.

I'd be interested in your ZR1's if I didn't have 4 1/2 sets already [Roll Eyes]

Cragers will make the car stand out . The ZR1's in black though will go with the halo and your Berger panel..........It comes down to what you like you have to live with them. As others have said money should be no consideration go with what you like.

The halo is the roof bar ("B" pillar) on the car just behind the front window/t-tops.

Put the shiny Cragars on one side and the Black ZR1 style 5 spokes on the other. You'll have two looks on one car! -

First off, i want to thank EVERYONE for the opinions expressed. It really does mean a lot to me.

Now for the choice I made, It was very tough, but I really wanted to get that 315 tire in the rear, so I went with the Black ZR1 style from AFS. I should have them in a couple of days and I will take some pics for those that are interested..

Thanks again guys for taking time to share your thoughts!!! [Smile]

Just a "Heads up"...the 295/35/18's filled the wheel well to the max, but then mine is dropped 1.5"....The 315's on 10" or 11" rims will more than likely require some cutting on the fender lips.....

I got a couple of 17x11's for the back of my pickup I'm building (check pics below)...I THINK you have to get them specially made (I had to at least)...Mine are American Racing Torque Thrust II's...And like they're saying...get what YOU want...wait a little longer and save a little extra if you need to!

I dont really like the ones on top, but the black ones look very nice, especially if you have a berger-style panel.

JMHO, but go for the black ones, dude.

Cragar's!

The others from a distance look too much like a set of black steel rims.
