They are cuties and if I had a yard I'd give it shot for sure!! It's a tough time of the year right now...a lot of dogs and not enough homes!!

What did you think of that HBO special "Shelter Dogs"? Aggie was sweetie wasn't she...cried whne they had to put her down!

It was worth it bro....brought up a lot of interesting thoughts on euthenasia that we never really considered before. The focused on the fact that most dogs' behavior gets worse when they are kept in cages in the constant stress and that there is a period of time where the dog goes beyond being helped and was it better to let them suffer mentally and drive themselves mad in a cage or have them peacefully put down? It brought upa whole new light on the subject and how the anti-euthenasia movement is going on, but studies are showing that dogs with bad behaviors only get worse in that environment not better. We watched it even though we weren't crazy about it, but we did because to be honest we asked many others to watch it so they could understand that shelter work is not easy and how hard it is and yet we wouldn't watch it ourselves. Personally I felt it a bit hypocritical not to watch it since we tired very hard to get others to watch it so they got educated as to what's involved. We just felt we couldn't ask others to do what we weren't willing to do ourselves..just our feelings.
