Just got back from Florida, drove down to Gainesville Wednesday of last week and got back last night, father in-law was ill.
Only saw 2 Camaro SSs on the trip, a black one on I-10 in Jacksonville and a SOM on Newberry rd. in Gainesville. We were in the wife's car, a 99 Monte Carlo.

The picture of the day ............. NHRA Division 2 ......... the Dixie Rebels (originally known as Buster's Rebels) .............. a powerhouse since the beginning ...........one of the strongest performers from down south was Raymond Godman and his "Tennessee Bo-Weevils" ............. shown in A/MR form at the '62 U.S. Nationals (the car on the left) and at the '68 Springnationals in AA/FD form ............ Godman, injured in the Korean war, was confined to a wheelchair and did all the mechanical work while Preston Davis drove the cars ........... Raymond Godman, a real class gentleman

Good luck today Dan with your new purchase , I hope it is what you wanted and enjoy the new gas mileage. I can remember selling my first Camaro back in 1982 , it was a 1976 Type LT . I had it all fixed up and the person I sold it to bought it for his daughter to use at college. It lasted about 6 months and got wrecked and totaled. I missed that car so much . BTW I bought a brand new 1982 Cavalier , 4 door for my family because we needed to have a car to put a child's seat in the back easily. This was the first year for a Cavalier and it caught my eye when looking even though it was a ugly two tone brown. Needless to say I kept the Cavalier for less than one year and traded it in for a 1983 Camaro Coupe with T-tops ,
