Me and Missi's prayers are with you today. Those doctors are getting so good at that stuff, I'm sure there's nothing to worry about, but try to tell that to someone who's got to have it done, right? Good luck!

Thank you all very much for your fantastic replies. I go back in two weeks for a checkup and probably won't see him for 3 months or so. I don't know if he will be precribing medicine or not to keep it under control. I am sure he will though.
I am just glad to have the pressure relieved and am going to be taking very good care of my eyes for the rest of my life.
Thank you all again very very much. Posts: 2841 | From: Westland, MI | Registered: Apr 2003

Wheew! Great news, after something like that people tend to "look" at things a little differently. Modern medicine, specially the laser if a fantastic tool. Show how important regular eye check ups are!

You are absolutely right Brian and I am "looking" at things alot differently now. I will be getting checkups every year now as it is covered by my insurance and am going to keep this glaucoma under control. Posts: 2841 | From: Westland, MI | Registered: Apr 2003

Thank you Elie and true....oh so true in describing how I am feeling. I was numb at first but elated right after, kinda jumping for joy after having the surgery and hearing that the pressure in the right eye was lower as well. And that is basically unheard of so fast. I am overjoyed. Posts: 2841 | From: Westland, MI | Registered: Apr 2003
