Cindy and I just got back from Florida about a hour ago and Chuck,Tim,and us did the back-porch group proud. Cindy won 1st place and a platinum award of 994 points in the modified class with our 2001 SS vert and Chuck won 2nd place with a platinum 990 score in modified with his 99 Z/28. He also won the sponcers trophy and the trophy for long distance driven.Chucks 2000 SS which Tim his son entered won 1st place in the factory original class with a score of 988 platinum. It was a great show and we got to see alot of old friends and made alot of new ones and the weather for the most part was in the 80's

Congratulations to all on their successes ......... but a big congrats to you and Cindy ............ glad you had a good time and are back safe & sound

I was there with out 30th SS. We got 994 points and a platinum certificate and first place in the 93-97 contemporary.
All in all, a fun weekend with plenty of nice cars and even nicer people. Already looking forward to next year.
I took a few pictures and hope to have them posted in a week or so.
Congrats to you also Jim your car really looked great there. I guess we did not do bad for a car with 60,000 miles on it and drove there to still get a 994 and 1st in the 98-2001 modified class
