I'm going to NYC April 2 - 5 with my son's theater group as a chaperone!!!  -

I had to PROMISE him that I would stay as far away from him as I possibly could AND to act like I did not know him AND if we happened to be in the same vicinity NOT to embarrass him.....LOL!! [Roll Eyes]

Some places to hit: Saks 5th Ave, Kenneth Cole, World Trade Towers, Stock Exchange, Times Square, Statue of Liberty...etc [Big Grin] [Big Grin] (the shopping is the best part of that city!!)

i've only been to NYC twice...the first time doesn't really count cause i was really little, but the second time was soooo much fun. we went and stood outside for the today show and they interviewed me...oh yeah i was cool [Roll Eyes]

for what its worth FAO Schwartz (sp?) in the city is closed or will be closing. if they haven't closed already, im not sure of the date.

And Phantom was incredible!! it was my first broadway show and i really really enjoyed it!! also, in times square youll see a McDonalds. well right next door is the times square information center. go in and at the booth/desk in the center of the room there is a list of shows that have "student rush" seats as they call them available. while we were in teh city to see Phantom, we toyed with the idea of going to see Aida that night for only $25 with our student discount. just be sure all the kids have a student id. [Wink] depending on the dates you're here, maybe we could get some kind of mini G2G going... [Smile] now that I'm saying this, im sure i wont be able to make. such is my luck [Roll Eyes]
