Anyone know the part # for this? Also, anyone know the part # for the pace performace set of these wheels? I thought pace performace sold a set for like $750 or something like that.

The part number for the set is 12498899. I believe that's right, but you might want to check it. This is a GM part number and the set should be avaiable at any GM dealer. Of course price will vary.
I get most of my GM parts from Dal Slabaugh at "lockitup@bright.net".

Dal's good, but still find gmpartsdirect.com prices better most of the time. My local dealer gives me almost as good a deal as Dal, but since I don't pay shipping, it comes out a little better, actually. Depends on what you buy so it pays to check, though.
Yes, last I checked Pace sells the whole set of wheels and caps, set of 4.

I just looked up that part # on Pace and it said MSRP 855, PACE price 749. I looked up the same part # on gmpartsdirect and it came up gm list price 855, our price 598.

the part # for the set should be the same no matter if i'm on gmpartsdirect or pace performace right? I'm just trying to figure out why gmpartsdirect is selling a set for soo cheap??
quote: You've seen them on the Camaro "SS" and now you can purchase them as a set complet with center caps. These are "brand new" and direct from GM Performance with a look and a price you will love. (50mm offset)
I can't find my Pace catalog anywhere, but what I got out of their ad writeup was it was a complete set of 4. I guess the only SURE way to find out is if there are 4 wheels included, or does "set" mean 2? A set of 4 from gmpartsdirect.com using the individual numbers comes out to $1260 delivered.
Actually, there's 119 and change shipping charge to gmpartsdirect.com prices for the "set", which means it's about $718 delivered.
The gmpartsdirect.com quoted price is the basic price for the item. I know it USED to be dealer cost, but not sure if that's still true. Their profit is made via the shipping and handling charge. Their profit is the difference between the quoted price and the shipped price, minus the actual shipping and handling charge. Kinda weird, but that's how it works.
HOWEVER....I got my local parts guy working on it to find out exactly what is in the "wheel kit" that paceparts sells. It seems too cheap to be a complete set of 4, yet too expensive to be just one. He said he's going to call the GM parts tech line to find out what all comes with that part number. I should know something later and I'll post what I find out.

Just got a call from my parts dude. Great news. GM part number 12498899, Wheel kit consists of (according to GM parts tech line):
FOUR of p/n 88892486 Wheels, QG4 option (17 x 9 machined-faced wheel 35th Ann. LE Camaro)
FOUR of p/n 9594408 center caps to match
and FOUR sets of lug nut packages (1 pkg per wheel), didn't write down the part number on those. But they're included. Non-locking, however.
All at a list price of $855, and MY cost from my dealer is $726.75. He says, "I can order them for you today and get them here by next week, no problem." Err..tempting, but no, thanks, I wasn't looking to buy them, just trying to clear things up.
Here's my advice:
Check with your dealer to see if they'll get you the wheels for around 725 bucks, and even if you have to pay tax, it's not so bad, because the thing about paying a couple of bucks more than gmpartsdirect.com price of 719 delivered is that there may be an advantage peace of mind. For one, shipping to the dealer is included, BUT, you can inspect the wheels before you pay for them or accept them and if they're chunked up or anything is missing, you don't have to wrestle long-distance with returns via e-mails and such or fighting with UPS because their driver dropped one. My reputation with my dealer is very good. I even ordered a 502 crate engine with no money down and paid for it when I went to pick it up.

Carefully read the post above yours.(2 above this one) The answer to your question lies within. The 598 is NOT the final price. You will pay more than that after S&H.
