I'm looking to help out a friend of my daughter. This young lad wants to learn how to drive performance cars the right way and some day race cars. He is looking more towards autocross type classes and not drag racing schools. I have listed for him Justin Bell and Bragg-Smith but thought I would ask the pros out here for any other advise. Thanks for any help,

Bragg-Smith is what a bunch of us went to and loved it. They did have some problems with GM, hopefully they resolved it. They are the most cost effective.
Justin Bell had some financial problems. They canceled some classes that some of my vette friends had lines up.
Bounderant is another to check ou. Pricey and I think use mostly Cadillac's.

I've attended Bragg-Smith Level 1 and 2, the Bondurant Grand Prix class and the Justin Bell GT Experience. I think Bell is out of business.
For the money, I think Bragg-Smith is the better deal. Great amount of seat time, much more challenging track and the instruction is great.
Depending on the class you sign up for, Bondurant uses Caddy CTS's or slightly modified Corvette coupes. Bonduant offers a two day Z06 class, but I don't know what cirriculum is like.
Honestly, you really can wrong with either school. My daughter will be going when she turns 16 in another 13 years.

Bondurant offers a less expensive course for teens to learn proper driving techniques.... I was going to go this year and treat myself but am going to put if off for a year.... I just couldn't bring myself to pay 3K for the class. I still want to go bad but I'm going to wait. The class I was looking at was the class that uses CTS's....

I concur that Bragg-Smith was a great learning experience but starting with something more basic like the Evolution autocross school may be more cost effective.

Mr. fenton23 "won"* a trip to a driving school in....I think....AZ.....when we were at BG last Sept.

Ralph check out www.pbocflorida.com Ecklers is having a 2 day class coming up this year which will be run at Sebring on the track that they run the Sebring race on it includes class room and track time for I think as a special price of around $275.00 for the 2 days. Joe has a post about it on the worldwide camaro board

Whoaaa...I'd be writing this from the Lonely Guys Hotel if that was the case. I actually got a really good deal on the course, which I'm scheduled to go to in about 3 weeks. I'm registered for the Bondurant "Z06 Experience" which uses slightly modified ZO6's (hence the name).
I'll let ya'll know how it goes when I get back.
