snow forecast for today and tomorrow ........... bah, humbug [Mad] Y'all have a good one anyway [Wink]

The picture of the day ........... "The little Vega's that could" ........... 1970 and 1971 Pro Stock racing belonged to the Mopar boys ........ Sox & Martin, Dick Landy, Arlen Vanke, Don Grotheer, Don Carlton, etc .......... enter the year 1972 ........... Bill Jenkins arrives at the Winternationals in Pomona with a new "Mini" Pro Stocker (the only thing not legal were the headers, and he had a new set made overnight) .......... the Chrysler boys were quite amused ............ "Grumpy" was going to challenge their all conquering Hemis with a 331 cu. in. mouse motor .............. how funny !!

Wasn't so funny after he busted all their chops, won the event, and went on to to be one of the dominant forces in the class for the next six years ............... shown below is "Grumpy's Toy X" ....... the '74 sloped nose Vega [Cool]
