I'm hunting any and all info. about upcoming GM fullsize pickups. My '01 2500HD may be getting replaced. I hate the current style of the Chevy nose but might have to grit my teeth and buy one anyway. There is a chance that I could wait for an '05 if any good stuff is coming for that year. Hate to see my current truck go but my needs have changed a bit. That and some other cicumstances are forcing my hand sooner than I had planned. Any thing you folks might know would help.
Thanks in advance.

I'm laughing! I was due to change my '99 but I just can't stand the new front end of the GM Truck line. So I wait and wait and wait - The Fords are starting to look good. F250 Club Cab 4 X 4 Power Stroke...

Scary isn't it? Thought crossed my mind too,but the Fords are just as outdated in the heavier duty versions I need.

Just to be fair,I gave Ford a shot today. Drove a couple and spec'd one out. Ugly or not, I still think I prefer the Chevies. Looks like the front runner for me is the 3500 SRW with a Duramax regular cab 4x4. Man,I need to see what the '05s will look like.

I am the same way. I was going to get a '02 1500, then they changed not only the front end, but the whole interior. It feels like it is a matchbox interior. All plastic, and molded for the cheapest way possible. I have not seen the new Fords, but sadly they are infront of the chevy at the moment. The dodge is a distant third.

The Ford dealer is really trying hard to get me to go their way. They keep calling and I keep giving them the same answer-I need the '05 info. first. Fbodfather, can you help me out with this? I'm jumping through all of these hoops in order to pay-off and keep my Hawk. The situation is a little unusual and this is the best way for me to have the Hawk and the work truck I need.

While I'm trying to figure this out I'm wondering about the "GM in the driveway" certificates. I know they give you GMS pricing, but how does that compare to invoice pricing? Also, when do they expire? I have to watch my pennies this go-round.

So far I've heard that the '05s get the bulging hood and DOD. Anyone hear anything else?
