Excuse this if it's a repeat... I searched but didn't see this specific problem: Bob bought a 12 disc cd changer for my comp t/a ... Since I had a radio with cd, he also bought a radio w/cassette. the cd changer is out of a 2002 so the connector is on the left side which makes the harness about 6-7 inches short. is there an adapter we can buy somewhere in lieu of installing a whole new harness??? or do we have to splice into the harness to make it reach? Thanks for the help -------------------- Dorie '96 COMP T/A #92 12.75 @ 106.69

I would check with local shops for an extension first. Many people who customized their stereos have used PAC adapters including me. Here is a site that has some of their harnesses - the OEM harness is $15. Maybe that will give you enough room.http://www.tune-town.com/Cars/stuff/Chevrolet/1997-02_Chevrolet_Camaro.htm -------------------- Mark H. Whoever said you couldn't run away from your problems obviously wasn't driving an SS.

thanks. I'll have Bob look into it. Appreciate the help. He doesn't want to replace the whole harness and was hoping there was a quick fix. -------------------- Dorie '96 COMP T/A #92 12.75 @ 106.69

this harness from crutchfield.com looks like the right one too. GM wiring harness I'd call them to ensure. --------------------chrisL 00 Hawk 295 - NBM, Hurst, Bilstein, Auburn, SLP spoiler, Chrome, Syntec, Lou's Short Stick, SLP OE lid, SLP !CAGS, BMR STB
